Season’s Greetings
As the year draws to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our customers and business partners, for your continued trust and cooperation.
It is also the time to revive our much-loved tradition at MDS: the annual donations to children's charities in and around Frankfurt. This year, we would like to support the Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder (Frankfurt Children's Cancer Foundation) and Ambulanter Kinderhospizdienst Frankfurt (Outpatient Children's Hospice Frankfurt).
The aim of the Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder is to give all children and young people suffering from cancer the chance of a cure and the prospect of a life without long-term consequences. At the Dr Petra Joh Research Centre, which is funded by the foundation, around 60 scientists are investigating the questions: Why do children get cancer and how can we improve their chances of recovery?
The team at Ambulanter Kinderhospizdienst Frankfurt supports affected children and young people and their families. The current support takes place on an out-patient basis only, but an in-patient facility is being planned. Therefore, every help is particularly important to make sure that this project can be realised. We are delighted to make a contribution and support this very valuable work.
